Three of our students, including Logan, competed at NAGA last weekend. Here's a recap. Logan will soon post about her experience. (You can watch her match here. -Yes, I'm a proud mom.) She had me worried in the first few minutes, and amazed me at how she kept her cool through it all.
After spending the last two Saturdays at tournaments, I'm glad to have a break tomorrow. Even though we'll be busy, busy, busy with school functions, errands, housework, and more, I'll get a break from the stress of competition. (But I really can't wait til NAGA in February)
This started as a blog about training together as a family, in part to inspire other women & families to get involved. As female participation in jiu jitsu has increased, as we have grown as athletes and as we learned that families training together aren’t such an anomaly, the blog has evolved. Jen gets personal with posts on ambition, challenges & achievements in BJJ, CrossFit & with nutrition, while Tom's posts are more educational, informative and analytical in regards to training. On occasion you may hear from the kids.
Awesome job, Logan! :)
